Nancy SteinmeyerWomen's Works is an extraordinary occasion in which we are given a chance to enjoy thought-provoking, sensitive and lovely artwork from women artists across America, Canada and other nations. It has been a very important event for women for over two decades.
We want to offer special thanks to all the artists for the images that they have submitted over the years. We are very grateful for the artwork that has been displayed in the show. This experience gives us the chance to come together and celebrate each March, the National Women's History Month.
We want to focus on the individuals whose efforts have made this show possible year after year. Unfortunately, we cannot list everyone by name, but we want to acknowledge your efforts and dedication. It is a triumph for all the people who were part of this show over the years: chairs, co-chairs, committee members, graphic artists, the people who hang the show, John Heng, president of the Northwest Area Arts Council, all the board members, and especially all the jurors and the judges.
Our generous sponsors, both past and present, have been instrumental in making Women's Works a prestigious event year after year. We are very grateful to Pigfish for its special "People's Choice" award.
Finally, special thanks are due to Bev Ganschow, owner of the landmark Old Court House Arts Center. Her gallery has made this show possible, for which we are very grateful.
Many thanks to all of you as we look forward to the next 25 years and beyond!
